He Works alot of jobs for family support & still has time to be a great dad. Most of all he loves everyone around him & cares for one another." |

| 05/27/2009 "My dad is the Greatest American Dad because he is not my real dad. He married my mom and treats me like his real daughter. He loves video games and BBQing. He comes to my school to have lunch with me on his days off. He says that my mom and me are the reasons he wants to do better at his job and get promotions. I wanted to buy his a flat tv for fathers day but my mom said we don't have enough money. So please let him win the tv or else the cookie cake is all we have the money for. Love, Skylar" |

He taught me how to play soccer and he comes to all my soccer games. My dad, takes me to the library. At night my dad lays with me and tickles my tummy. I love my dad, He is the Greatest American Dad!" |

| 05/27/2009 "I think that my dad, Carl Frizell, is a Great American Dad who loves his family unconditionally. Whether it was helping my brother and me with a school project when we were in grade school to helping me move into my first apartment, my father is a man who is an inspiration in my life. I think the most touching moment of my life was seeing my father care for my grandfather when he was dying. Daddy took the time from his job to take care of “granddaddy” and to serve as a support system for our entire family. Also, once when I was very sad, he told me to not shed any tears because he would shed them for me. I thought that was so nice! Daddy is always sharing his wisdom and knowledge from the days he worked hard picking cotton in the Mississippi Delta and cutting wood to help keep his family warm. He is also a school teacher and the janitor at our church. I love my dad so much and just want to share these good things about him. These are reasons why my dad, Carl Frizell, is a Great American Dad!" |

| 05/27/2009 "My dad is the person we all wish we could be. He is more honest, selfless and humble than any person I've ever known. He once returned to the grocery store to pay for a bottle of water that the cashier mistakenly didn't charge him for. And he when asked how he’s doing, he will smile and tell you he's "wonderful, as always" even when he's in so much pain you can see tears in his eyes. He has battled two types of cancer and has a heart as strong as any hero you might read about in a war story. My father is the type of man who will stop to pick a turtle off the road so it isn’t crushed and who will give the shirt off his back to someone who needs it more. His pride, his character, his generosity and his love for life make him one GREAT AMERICAN DAD. " |

| 05/27/2009 "What makes my Dad so great? That's easy...my Dad is so great because after 33 years, he is still BEING a Dad. He has been supportive my whole life...emotionally, financially, spiritually, and when I turned 18 or even 21 that didn't change. He is still my solid rock that I can turn to in times of need. I am now married with my own child, but instead of him being dismissive of my life, he is a constant source of knowlege and love to me and my family. There is no doubt that my Dad will do anything in his power to enrich our lives...he has proven that for 33 years. I love that man and I know he loves me!" |

| 05/27/2009 "My dad is great because the only thing he cares about is his family and reading the bible. He has two full-time jobs and won't settle for less because he wants the very best for us. He'll only eat cheese and chips when he gets home because he's too tired to make anything else. We're asleep when he gets home and asleep when he leaves. But we see him all day Saturday when he's not helping with Club Genesis (an outreach for young children). He loves kids. Likes big dogs but, not our little bichon Frise (our puppy). I love my daddy." |

| 05/27/2009 "This year has been the absolute worst year of my dad’s life. His world turned upside down in February when I (his twenty-seven year old daughter) awoke to find myself very ill and my eyesight severely distorted, a condition that my dad is, unfortunately, all too familiar with. I ended up spending ten days in the hospital, during which my dad never left my side. He was there when I was diagnosed with an extremely rare condition—essentially, a virus had permanently destroyed pieces of my vision. My dad can relate in a way few other people can—he was hit by a drunk driver twenty-five years ago and has slowly lost the ability to control his left eye due to damage he sustained in the accident. It has been such an incredible help to be able to talk to my dad about the frustrations of having a visual impairment because he knows exactly how it feels. However, it is not only in the past months that my dad has been there for me. He worked in a factory for over thirty years, with every penny he earned going toward raising my brother and me and paying for our educations." |
