07/18/2009 "My Dad loves me unconditionally. He pushes me to be great at whatever I do. He is always here to help me out when I need something fixed, something made, help with school, or anything else! I have four sisters so he had five girls, no boys, and now is a wonderful grandfather to eleven grandchildren. My Dad can always tell when I feel down and can always make me feel better or make me smile."

07/18/2009 "My father worked his way through college and medical school on his own for the express purpose of being able to provide for his family a lifestyle that he never had the chance to have himself. His children have never known inconvenience or hardship because of his enormous work ethic and steadfast dedication. Along the way he has been able to help countless numbers of people deal with serious and very frightening disorders and diseases. Now as a cancer survivor, he has seemingly doubled his affections towards his children and his grandchildren, spending more time with them and working hard in and out of the office to contribute to their lives. I am very proud of my dad for helping me define the word 'father' for me, and show me how to be a better father for my own children."

07/16/2009 "My dad is the best thing that happened to me! You see, I was adopted at the age of 7. Before my adoption, I never knew a father. My life was filled with men who hurt, or spoke badly. My new life was different. I had a dad---a real dad, who actually cared about me. He cares about the things I do, the things I like. When I was adopted, my adoptive dad was downsized from his work the very week of my adoption. It was funny, because his reaction was not of anger but of happiness. He said "this gives me a chance to spend time with my new daughter!" I got to have my dad with me 24/7. I learned what having a dad was all about. My dad is loving, kind and gentle. He is easy to talk too. I love and respect my dad because he turned my world upside down in the BEST way!!"

07/16/2009 " The most rewarding gift we are blest with, is having such a loving and caring dad whose hardwork made a huge difference in our growing years. He is our role model, our divine provider not just of resources and effort but most, of time. Now that we have grown and have a family to raise, it's our turn to pass on his lifelong commitment to selflessness. He led us by his good examples and he taught us lessons that are practically important because we believe that's his legacy, his love for music, his simple values and his faithwalk are worth emulating. Now that he has retired we want to make him feel important, encouraged, loved, and appreciated for everything he has done. It is the very least we can do to honor a great dad who gave his all for his family. "

07/15/2009 "My dad is the greatest dad because he has to work 2nd shift so I don't get to see him during the week. I get to spend the whole weekend with him working on cars in our shop, fishing and hunting. Whatever I need my dad has always got it for me, instead of getting his car painted he let me sign up for guitar lessons. I'm 8 years old and I love to spend time with my dad. He build me a tree house and it took him alot of weekends and he didn't have time for anything else. I love my dad very much!"
